Balanser ładowania, zwany również potocznie wyrównywaczem napięć to urządzenie służące do utrzymywania na tym samym poziomie napięć akumulatorów 12 V połączonych ze sobą w układzie szeregowym.
Dzięki temu poszczególne akumulatory układu chronione są przed przeładowaniem, które może prowadzić do nadmiernego gazowania jak również przed nierównomiernym rozładowaniem, które może doprowadzić do zasiarczenia, co w obu przypadkach skutkować może trwałym uszkodzeniem akumulatorów.
Zasada działania polega na niezależnym pomiarze napięć dwóch akumulatorów 12V połączonych w bank 24V, wyznaczeniu punktu środkowego takiego szeregu akumulatorów oraz transferze energii z akumulatora o wyższym napięciu do akumulatora o niższym napięciu.

Dzięki dużej wydajności prądowej balanserów z serii BL nadają się one zarówno do stosowania z niewielkimi akumulatorami (40Ah) jak i również z tymi o dużej pojemności (200Ah).
W przypadku gdy istnieje potrzeba zbudowania z akumulatorów 12V banku energii o napięciu wyższym niż 24 V należy połączyć szeregowo większą ilość akumulatorów i balanserów w układzie:

36V - 3 akumulatory i 2 balansery
48V - 4 akumulatory i 3 balansery
