    Specjalny drut spawalniczy stosowany do łączenia blach ocynkowanych, miedzi ze stalą, miedzi i stopów miedziano-krzemowych. Stosowany głównie w przemyśle samochodowym, budowie urządzeń wentylacyjnych, kontenerów. Główną zaletą lutospawania jest ochrona antykorozyjna połączonych elementów. Dzięki niższej temperaturze procesu zmniejsza się ryzyko spalania powłoki cynkowej, sam drut CuSi3 również nie koroduje. Jako gaz osłonowy stosowany jest argon.
